Intro to Tech is an introductory course that expands on your recreational training by improving dive planning methods, in-water skills, and streamlining existing gear configurations in a controlled and fun learning environment. A backplate/wing and a long-hose-primary-donate are required for the course (rental included or refine your own); however, only two of the dives need to be in double tanks (rental included).

Intro To Technical Diving
$575.00

Prereq: Open Water

Gear required: Mask & Fins, call me if you don’t have these or need stiffer fins

We will meet at Force-E Fort Lauderdale. In the private classroom, we will review agency learning and then theory and gear. Once you can describe the basics, we will break for lunch then meet back at the pool across the street. We fit the BCD (personal or rental) to you on land. Then, in a perfectly fitting system, you will learn the basics in a pool so on day two we can review higher level skills.

We need a full day at the lake to have time for all of the skills. Most are tactile personal skills, but some are culmination tasks to build situational awareness. Optionally, you can add a boat dive on a third day.
